Once your item is shipped from BCM you will receive FedEx tracking information to track your package all the way to your door

Byron Center Meats Through The Years

The Journey Begins - 1946
In April 1946 Gerald and Gert Sytsma built a meat locker plant in Byron Center, MI. They paid $300 for the lot.

A New Opportunity - 1984
In 1984 a new opportunity opened up for Byron Center Locker. Sysco Food Service of Grand Rapids was looking for a supplier that could provide them with fresh cut steaks to be distributed by Sysco to hotels, restaurants, and institutions throughout Michigan.
Down but not Out!
A fire on July 22, 2007, destroyed our retail store, offices, and some production spaces. With help from contractors, vendors, and employees, we set up temporary spaces and were back in production in 3 days.
New Retail Store - May 2009
After the fire in 2007, we built a 13,000 square foot addition that includes new processing rooms, coolers, freezers, offices and of course the retail store.
